This assistance system, known as the “surrounding camera,” provides a comprehensive view of your Audi E-tron GE’s surroundings. It consists of four cameras located in the radiator grille, both exterior mirrors, and the tailgate, which collectively offer a variety of perspectives on the immediate vehicle environment.

These cameras allow you to:

• Pan and zoom to get an external view on the radio’s touch screen.
• Benefit from a bird’s eye view for improved maneuvering and vehicle positioning.
• Utilize the rearview camera with auxiliary elements for perpendicular parking or towing a trailer.
• Access the front camera view with guide lines and visibility of obstacles in front of the vehicle.
• View the front and rear wheels, enhancing visibility when approaching curbs.
• Enjoy an almost 180-degree panoramic view that assists when exiting tight parking spaces, driveways, or intersections.

Additionally, this system includes the following Parking Assist Plus* functions:

• Fully automatic autonomous parking (by pressing and holding the button in the center console for safety).
• Selection of the parking space type in the infotainment system.
• Scanning for a suitable parking space using sensors while driving (up to 40 km/h).
• Complete takeover of the parking process, including gas and brake, by pressing and holding the center console button.
• Immediate cessation of the parking process by releasing the button.
